2022 KYOSHO LAZER ZXR-S JAMES INSTONE

It is an honor to count James Instone’s unique Lazer ZXR-S in my collection. This special version was developed over many years of racing against Masami and the likes since 1989. It sports a Fibrelyte carbon tub, which James originally designed. James brought together the best of the ZX-S and ZX-R racers into this car. He was not satisfied with the handling of the ZX-S on high-grip, so he developed a carbon rear gearbox inspired by the Lazer ZX-S and used the more adjustable ZX-R platform to retain strong high and low grip performance. The car is fitted with green Schumacher spikes, which are now discontinued and that James used to good effect at international races 😉

I have added my own finishing touches with original ZX-S EVO shocks and my now favourite see-through style body. James kindly signed the chassis for me too. The car is now seating next Massami’s racer and its ZX-S siblings.
