1993 YOKOMO WORKS 93 WCS Edition

Only 100 kits were released in 1993 to commemorate Massami Hirosaka winning the 1993 4WD Worlds in Basildon (UK).
Although it looks very similar to a Works 94, the 93WCS uses a different chassis and top deck. The clear fiber glass is actually thinner on the “real” 93WCS cars. Masami’s car sports an orange plastic wing, which is very sensite to sunlight, leaving a lot of them looking almost white after 30 years!

This particular example was raced hard back in the days.

It was fully restored and full electronics added to match Massami’s race setup, including tires and the plastic fading orange wing!
