1989 MRC SANDMASTER

French brand MRC, for Model Racing Car, is not my favorite brand. Back in the days, I saw them as poor local knock-offs of better quality Kyosho.
They also often sported unapealing bodies.

The Sandmaster is definitively in the fugly category but it has something about it, with its long front “bonnet”. But it remains fundamentally an MRC, with its crude and thick glass fiber chassis, simple flat platted gearbox, rough mechanical parts, and its distinctive wheels profile.
