2024 RC MAKER SP1

It is nice to see some innovations in modern RC. We tend to see the same car from every manufacturer. But in recent years we have seen some trying to break the mould. And they should be praised for the effort. The SP1 from RC Maker is the latest design that tries to lower the center of gravity.

Last year I built the Iris 1, which was a true marvel of engineering.

The SP1 is in a similar vein with its fully horizontal shocks. Quality of the kit is very good. All parts of superb craftsmanship. The only minute let down is the manual, which could be easier to read given some the complexity and small difference between some of the parts.
